Disney Value Advice From an Expert :)

by April on January 18, 2012

My cousin Erin is a travel agent in State College, PA, but also one of the biggest Disney enthusiasts I know! She started a blog about all things Disney, and today’s post talks about the value of a Disney vacation and staying on Disney property compared to an off property location in Lake Buena Vista. Here’s a portion of her post and a link to read the rest. Her contact info is on her site, but I’ll post it below as well. She planned our latest cruise to Bermuda and even thought she’s my cousin and I have to say this, she did an amazing job and took all the work out of planning for us so we were just able to sit back and relax. Here’s part of today’s post:

“I know there are many “deals” with properties outside of Walt Disney World or properties that advertise “closest to Walt Disney World Resort entrance” in their perks.  I can package a vacation that includes off property resorts, but once you see what you can get with a Disney property, you will easily change your mind.  After you see the two options below, it is very easy to see that choosing an “All-Inclusive” Walt Disney World package is a great choice and it doesn’t require you spending more money.”

All you have to do is purchase specially marked Kellogg’s products at Walmart and receive a $5 Book Coupon for every (2) Kellogg’s codes you enter! You can earn as many $5 Book Coupons as you would like between now and July 1, 2012 – there’s no limit! OAMC….Have You Done It?

by April on August 23, 2011

So, I’m getting ready to attempt my first time at OAMC. If you don’t know what that is, it stands for Once A Month Cooking.Basically, you cook your meals ahead of time, or get your casseroles ready, and freeze them until you need them for dinner. It not only helps you save time in the long run, but also money, and the meals will be healthier! If you have a meal ready to go already, you’re less likely to splurge on eating a meal out! I’m doing a couple things for breakfasts, a couple lunches, and a few dinners. If it’s successful, I’ll be posting my pictures, thoughts, recipes, and tips!

Well, I better get started! I have 8 recipes ready to go! Wish me luck!
